Presence is you in the present. Presence is you in the wholeness of this moment. Not a single part of you. Every single part of you. The whole of your being. Whole in this moment. Focus on these words. Now and here. There are no others. Not here. You are now clear. And now, some place other than this moment. You left it there. Off on a journey. Far away from there. Yet you are this moment. Come back to its wholeness. In this moment. You are the wholeness. You are the presence. Present are you. In this moment. You are this moment. In this moment, there is no other.

Three ideas for your conversation with presence:

  1. Breath. Focus on your breath. Inhale and exhale. Breath in this moment.

  2. Listen. Listen to the silence. Let go of all thoughts, one by one in this moment.

  3. Relax. Listen for tension. Breath. Let go of the tension in this moment.

Three questions for your conversation with presence:

  1. If awareness is you as the presence, who brings you into the present?

  2. If inattention is not you as a presence, who brings you out of the present?

  3. What is outside the presence of this moment?

3 insights on presence, from others.

What is the most important moment in life? The present moment. For the past no longer exists and the future does not yet exist.

Put your awareness to work, not your mind. The mind is not the right instrument for this task. The timeless can be reached only by the timeless. Your body and your mind are born subject to time; only awareness is timeless, even in the now.

Past and future are only the present when they occur, thus the present alone exists.
